Course Audience

This course is designed for students with some experiences in an UNIX environment, who require skills for administrating a Tru64 UNIX operating system.

Prerequisites

Good knowledge about using a UNIX operating system as covered in ''Tru64 V5 Utilities and Commands'' (BW-TRUUSR) or equivalent experience is recommended.

Course Description

The course covers the basics from installing the operating system up to the high sophistic concept of managing the hardware and software components of Tru64 UNIX. Also the daily tasks of managing user environment, performing backup and restore and monitoring the system are contents of this course.
